^ What jesse said.. It doesn't matter about anything else but what you like to play..

Whatever you think is cool wether it be freezing your enemies at long range with powerfull ice spells, Going invisable and surprising your enemies with daggers and sword to the face out of nowhere, Being able to have 100 monsters attacking you when you have your giant shield and plate armour on laughing at the monsters hardly being able to scratch you, Or being able to heal everyone around you and save their lives (Personal experience healers get the most thanks and respect in many mmorpgs)

Healers are also the most played class, tanks being the least played. :o From all the games I've played.

I say that honestly, the mage should not have healing. IMO the game should have a strict healer/semi decent fighter class, a pure battle/melee dps class and or tank, pure mana consuming spellcaster of different types of spells such as destruction or buffs, and then from there you can mix and create other cross classes. I think a really sick class would be to have a Necromancer/Warrior character or maybe an Assassin class that could incorporate the two.

With the amount of masses against another healer class im sure the Dev will scrap it in a whole!

Double/Cross class sound pretty fun though :)

I feel as though giving a damage dealing mage class the ability to heal would make said class too overpowered.
