To me the grinding is the least productive activity as far as testing goes. There's nothing new to try, nothing different to test, just the same mobs, in the same place, with the same tactic, over and over. Currently many of us who have hit 25 made an alternate character for the occassional periods of boredom, which means trying a different class, quests, exploration and testing all over again. I've found new bugs on my alternate character which makes me feel more productive and helpful. Another level with a crazy amount of xp is incredibly daunting and the only testing involved will be the new boss and new mobs, which comes after the tedium of getting there. I was so happy when I finally hit 25 that I cried, lol, the torture was over. Not a lot of people are going to be crazy enough to be up to tackling 26 after the hell of hitting 25 unless the xp for 25 is reduced to a normal amount.

I have 4 lvl 25 chars atm, I've played with all almost equally last month. Obviously I would only try to cap my 2 main confessors but my lvl 18 fighter, lvl 14 rogue and lvl 15 Mage are now on indifinite hold. I doubt i would ever log them again cause time spent on the grind again. Raising cap automatically changes my Priorities. But people are supposed to have more than 1 playable character to adapt to situations quickly. Making us grind too much for just 1 main char will break all the will to try another. Frankly I find that capping a second char (once you know what to do) in 100-120hours is quite enough already. That's 20 days with 6hours a day of mindless work. Can't go faster than that without damaging your work or health irl.

Idk why rit but you pleasantly surprise me! I guess because you have so many Level 25 toons I thought you would muddle throught it withexery character without a complaint. But everything you said was spot on!

I'm still not clear from the above statement whether or not the level 25 cap will be lowered (as suggested by the players) or will remain at its current level.

Could admin please clarify what the XP breaks for levels 25 and 26 will be?

My hope is that level 25 XP will be dropped significantly, and that the difference in accumulated XP for current player at cap will count towards level 26. I believe this would be a far more popular move since it would (i) allow some hard-working level 24 players to achieve the FW title (ie. hit lvl 25), (ii) provide current lvl 25 players with an XP credit to reduce the required grind for lvl 26 cap, and encourage more to get through to at least lvl 25 to play / test higher content. Seems a win-win outcome.

I'm sure nobody would begrudge anyone who hits FW title as a result of the drop - if so they probably have some RL issues they need to address.

The deadline for the title is the 31st, the cap change is 1-2 days later, no one's getting FW Master easily...

Yep, the timing of any change may just take care of things. I was trying to anticipate any negative player reaction to a drop in lvl 25 XP. Perhaps those who would have made FW with a drop in cap might feel hard done by if the lvl25 change happens just after 31st. It would seem more generous to drop it on 31st if it was going to happen at all. Makes no difference to me personally but it could be encouraging for the higher level players.

In any case, it is all a moot issue if it has already be decided that there will be no change in lvl25 XP.

IF you as a dev team think that having this much XP to grind is still needed to keep players from levelling too fast and want to change it after 1-2 September I think you should considering the following

Lvl 25 => 1.570.000 - 1.000.000 = 570.000
Lvl 26 => 2.300.000 + 1.000.000 = 3.300.000

You'll keep the same ammount of needless XP that you wanted, make the essential part like final lvl 25 skill and ability to use Helmet more easy and make lvl 26 nothing more than an achievement without benefits.

At least the amount of psychological traumas will be reduced, but mainly I still believe that if you mindlessly grind 6 hours a day for you should be able to cap a new char now or in future between 20-30 days MAX.

Otherwise I'd really say either don't do it yet or decrease lvl 25 cap. I personally don't mind it at all and was prepared for it ages ago in any game.

Admin already confirmed that level 25 would be reduced but only until the solo content/activities planned are in game.

Lvl 26 = 2.3 Mill

(All we need confirmation is on whaf that 25 XP will be, which won't be released until further notice)

Just wasn't sure that it was actually confirmed - the statement seemed ambiguous. Hoping you're right :)

Well Lvl 26 wasn't confirmed at 2.3 Mill, but 1.560000 x 50-70%
