How do I make a guild???

Guilds aren't going to be added until FW.

Just state what you want out of the guild, what qualities you are looking for and don't forget Faction/PvP or PvE etc.

None of the guilds here are official in game yet, just somewhere to post and recruit.

Best option is take a look at the OPs of the first few guilds at the top and see how they have laid out their thread. Obviously don't copy what has been said its just to give you an idea, just post what your guild is all about.

PvE is what? Player vs everyone? Sry im only familiar with PvP. Ok so I can just recruit on the thread I post on? Fun

There will be two servers,

PvP (Valkyrie) = Player vs Player, Open world PvP in which you can also play all content within PvE.

PvE (Donar) = Player vs Environment, no open world PvP, but can choose to fight in BattleGrounds.

Eh, what? I just didnt know what to do. I knew what pvp and pve was. I just didnt know how to make one on WoM....let alone forums. So no im not a newbie, thank you very much!;)

Any estimates on how much time it takes to effectively start and manage a guild? I don't have a ton of time, but would be interested perhaps later on in the game.

A lot of time and effort, to make a guild takes no time at all you speak with GuildMaster NPC and you create one, simple as that.

But to effectively manage a successful guild, it could take weeks/months. (even close to 6+ months)

Depends what kind of guild you want,

If its an end game/leaderboard guild it will take the longest amount of time again depending on how much time your willing to add, as you will need.to gear up each and every member with the best possible gear, along with all the knowledge needed to get responsible/trustworthy officers to help manage the guild while offline. Then its their job to keep the guild in a 'peaceful' state which cuts out all the arguing and 'drama', also always on the look put for potential members. All while you will have to keep an eye on Officers checking the logs to see if anyone has been kicked out without your consent or just overall shenanigans.

If just a guild to chat to and have fun, then you could easily get it up and running in a week or less.

You have to have a leader mentality to raise a sucessful guild. It also helps to have friends on the start of the guild so people are more inclined to join a guild with an active member base.

Some of the most sucessful guilds do a lot of stuff for the community. Like giveaways, events, tournaments, ect. Key is to advertise your guild while you do this stuff so people are like "Woah.. I wanna join a guild that gives away free stuff commonly and has events!"
