Although it is x100 better I can't really say I'm swayed like others. Somehow I expected you to go more for a playful Norn look like in your maps instead of transparent Dos look. I wasn't looking for bubbles, but this sophisticated look (quoting Bod) (stoic imo) is too square for my taste.
Also I have my questions about this

Because the icons for the items are all generic square you're bound to fit these in a wider shape with a mask or leave too much space on both sides. Like you see with home rune the top and bottom are cut off atm.
Also even if I'm the only one I don't like these buttons and it's not because of unreal font.

There is too much white gradient on top and bottom for it while dark shadow on left side making it look like we're back in 2002. It's too round like that.
Personally I'd prefer my Destroy and Unequip buttons not too glossy and with slightly rounded edges.
Lets not beat around the bush actually. I hate glossy stuff as it always tends to come over more fake or like cheap plastic.
Ignoring the font which I don't have from my personal preference I'd go with this for gradient style inside the buttons. Note how the thin bright line around the edges is enough to give it a button feel in my case.

But then again they won't really fit your desaturated grim UI
Like I said above, personally I wanted to see bright living colors with these cartoonish Norn fragments/details like around the name or in corners.

I'm not swayed, but I'll take it over the previous. Just feels more like I'm in a banking app than a game when I see it

Everything stated in this post is a personal taste, but I stand by my points.
